I think throughout my career as a writer and artist, the Wild Hearts have always been one of the best forms of expression for me. I’m able to put the energy I feel within me onto the canvas in a very honest way. These hearts tell the story of life. And for me, that journey involves a lot of love.

I love the tones of this heart. It’s always difficult to photograph a piece like this, because in person you can see all of the different shades of white and cream and how they pick up the light in such a beautiful way. The blue-gray background frames the heart so well. It’s warm and inviting, and I’m happy to share it with you.
